Ya’el Pedroza was born in Houston, Texas, in 1975.  She is presently a candidate for an M.F.A. at California State University at Long Beach, and received her B.F.A. at Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village, Nevada.  
    Ya’el has shown her art nationally in group shows throughout Florida, California, Washington, Nevada, Oregon, and Wisconsin.  In 2008 she will be participating at shows in Buffalo, New York and internationally in Denmark at the Roennebaeksholm Arts and Culture Center.
Ms. Pedroza is in the public collections of Lake Tahoe Community College, University of Miami, and also in the private collections of Lyndon Thomson of Sacramento, CA., and Printzero Studios located in Seattle, WA.
She is the recipient of many honors and awards, including graduating Summa Cum Laude from Sierra Nevada College and receiving the Fine Arts Department Honor.  Ya’el also received the LTCC Pat Amundson Purchase Award in 2003.
